Kathmandu. The stock market fell on Thursday. On Thursday, the NEPSE index decreased by 5.06 points to close at 2,700.47 points. Likewise, the Sensitive Float Index decreased 0.77 points, the Float Index decreased 0.33 points and the Sensitive Float Index decreased 0.34 points.
Along with the stock market, the trading volume has also decreased. Shares worth Rs 3.63 billion were traded in the market on Wednesday and Rs 3.41 billion was traded today.
Out of 13 sub-groups, the indices of five sub-groups have increased while the indices of other seven sub-groups have fallen. Banking, finance, microfinance, mutual fund and trade sub-group indices increased on the day.
The share prices of the two companies traded at the positive circuit level today. Shares of Apollo Hydropower Ltd and Sopan Pharmaceuticals Ltd were traded in the positive circuit level today.
Ankhu Khola Hydropower Company Ltd topped the list on the basis of turnover today. The company’s shares worth Rs 31.98 crore were traded today.
