Kathmandu. The meeting of the Council of Ministers held today took 6 different decisions.
The meeting also approved the vacant post of chairman of the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) of Kailali. The meeting also decided to approve the principle of formulation of the bill designed to amend and integrate the existing laws related to cooperatives. According to Minister for Communications and Information Technology Bikram Timilsina, today’s meeting decided to give approval to table the bill to revive the existing provisions of the Nepal Special Service Act-2042 BS at the Federal Parliament.
The meeting also decided to appoint Dr Gopal Prasad Bhatta to the post of chairman of the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON), appoint Dr Gopal Prasad Bhatta, Kailali as the chairman of the Securities Board of Nepal.
The meeting also decided to approve the bill designed to amend and integrate the laws related to the National Service Dal to be tabled in the Federal Parliament and to present 4 replacement bills in the Federal Parliament.
Among them are the bill designed to amend the Cooperatives Act-2074, the bill designed to amend the Public Procurement Act-2063, the bill to amend the Money Laundering Prevention Act-2064 and the bill designed to amend the Nepal Act related to the Academy of Health Sciences.
