Nepalese use shampoo worth Rs 1.13 billion in 11 months, highest import from India

. In the 11 months of the current fiscal year 2082-83, Nepalese have consumed shampoo worth Rs 1.13 billion. According to the statistics of the Department of Customs, Nepal imported shampoo worth more than Rs 1.13 billion from various countries till mid-June.
In the 11 months of the current fiscal year, the highest amount of shampoo has been imported from India.TAG_OPEN_div_14 Shampoo worth Rs 68.67 crore was imported from India during the period. Similarly, China imported shampoo worth Rs 339.2 million, Vietnam Rs 31.4 million, Britain Rs 15.36 million, Bangladesh Rs 11.22 million and Thailand Rs 16.66 million.
Similarly, imports of shampoo amounted to South Korea worth Rs 62.60 lakh, Japan worth Rs 52.32 lakh, USA Rs 42.80 lakh, Italy Rs 41.35 lakh, United Arab Emirates (UAE) worth Rs 32.36 lakh, Germany worth Rs 2.918 million and Turkey worth Rs 1.918 lakh.TAG_OPEN_div_12
In the 11 months of the current fiscal year, Qatar received Rs 683,000, Malaysia Rs 13,14,000, Sri Lanka Rs 11.15 lakh, Poland Rs 714,000, Kuwait Rs 709,000, Australia Rs 551,000, Brazil Rs 4,62,000, Saudi Arabia Rs 4,49,000,TAG_OPEN_div_10 Shampoo worth Rs 220,000 was imported from Egypt, Rs 58,000 from Oman and Rs 173,000 from Denmark.
Likewise, imported goods worth Rs TAG_OPEN_div_8 140,000 from Mexico, Rs 98,000 from Greece, Rs 84,000 from Spain, Rs 67,000 from the Netherlands, Rs 37,000 from Bahrain, Rs 24,000 from Canada, Rs 20,000 from Hong Kong, Rs 12,000 from Portugal, Rs 9,000 from France, Rs 6,000 from Israel, Rs 4,000 from Cyprus, Rs 2,000 from Lebanon and Rs 1,000 from Brunei. Similarly, such items of negligible value have been imported from the Philippines, Belgium and Switzerland.
