. In the past 24 hours, 2,102 drivers have been found violating traffic rules. This amount of revenue has been deposited in the state treasury amounting to Rs 2.11 million.

According to the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, 89 were taken for drunken driving, 108 for ride-sharing, 99 for breaching signal lights and 83 for speeding.TAG_OPEN_div_6

Similarly, 59 for flouting lane discipline, 100 for blowing horn in prohibited areas, two-way driving under the influence of drugs, 78 for driving one-way road and 1,484 for not following other traffic rules were taken by the department.TAG_OPEN_div_4
