Kathmandu. The Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives and Federal Affairs is preparing to make the process of employee transfer completely digital.
The Ministry has forwarded the work of digital transfer system with the objective of making the transfer process transparent, systematic, quick and technology-friendly.
According to the ministry, the system will be based on the digital profile of the employees. The required details will be updated automatically as the personal and service-related details of the employees will be linked directly to the relevant system or through the Application Programming Interface (API).
There will also be a flagging system for transfer applications. This will help in the easy identification of applications that are duplicate, require special monitoring or need further testing. In addition, employees will be able to view their transfer application online through the process tracking system.
According to the ministry, the transfer letters will be generated automatically from the system. If necessary, there will be an arrangement to exchange information through APIs with the systems of other related agencies. Similarly, the decision and details related to the transfer would be made public on the website of the Ministry within 24 hours.
Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives and Federal Affairs Pratibha Rawal said the digital transfer system was prioritized as per the government’s policy of making civil administration transparent, accountable and technology-friendly. She expressed the belief that with the implementation of this system, the delay in the transfer process would be reduced, transparency would increase and the employees would get easy and reliable service.
