Kathmandu. The water supply to the Melamchi Water Project has been halted after the source of the Melamchi Water Supply Project was flooded due to incessant rainfall on Thursday. According to the project, the water supply has been cut off in Kathmandu due to the flooding in the source.

According to the project, water could not be sent to Sundarijal Processing Centre as the water is very polluted. According to the project, the supply will resume as per the distribution schedule once the water becomes clear. If it rains continuously, the arrival may be delayed by a few days.
