Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The Department of Foreign Employment (DoFE) has registered 18 new cases in a single day today. In course of the legal process, settlement of 11 cases has been done and five people have been arrested and presented. Arrest warrants have been issued against 13 people and arrest warrants have been obtained for 16 people.

According to the organization registration section, 52 manpower companies and 9 pre-departure orientation training providers were renewed on the day. Similarly, the organization monitoring section has issued 2 passports and sent letters to 1 manpower company. During the monitoring, 3 complaints were received, of which one was settled and 6 were resolved by telephone.

The Grievance Management and Hearing Department has also expedited the grievance redressal of the service recipients. Out of 7 complaints received through the ‘Hello Sarkar’ portal, 4 have been fully resolved while 3 are under process. Similarly, 71 complaints received through the department’s call center were resolved on the same day. The Department has stated that it has clearly informed through the letter regarding 10 complaints received through the ministry.
