Baglung. Vehicular movement along the national pride project Kaligandaki corridor has been obstructed this morning after landslides occurred at Belbagar of Jaimini municipality-8 along the Baglung section.

Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Rameshwor Twati, said that vehicular movement has also been disrupted in the area as the landslide has damaged the road. He said that efforts are being made to open the road which was damaged by the landslide.

Vehicular movement in the southern part of Baglung has come to a grinding halt as the road has been completely disrupted due to the first incident. Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Twati said it was difficult to open the road as the landslide was taking place. In the absence of an alternative road in the corridor, passengers are compelled to stay there until the road is opened.
