Kathmandu. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB), the central bank of Nepal, is set to issue debentures worth Rs 15 billion. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has issued ‘Nepal Rastra Bank Debenture 2084 BS’ on July 15 to manage excess liquidity in the banking system.
The interested investors can apply for the debentures from class ‘A’, ‘B’ and ‘C’. The debentures will be auctioned till 3:00 pm today. The interest rate of these bonds will be determined through bidding.
It is a one-year bond. The principal payment will be made on July 30, 2084 and the interest will be paid half-yearly. The interested bidders can bid for the debentures up to a minimum of Rs 5 crore and a maximum of Rs 5 crore.
