Kathmandu. At a time when the stock investors are agitating against the Securities Board of Nepal, Chairman of the Securities Board Dr. Gopal Bhatta has been transferred to the Ministry of Finance.
After the continuous decline in the market, investors have reached Sebon under the leadership of Tilak Koirala. While they are agitating in the board, Chairman Bhatta is in the Ministry of Finance.
Koirala has demanded that the capital market rescue plan be made public today itself.
If this problem is not resolved today, then all brokers will be closed tomorrow. He said that even though the police stopped him in Sebon, the police could not stop 94 brokers.
Koirala said that if their demands were not met, they would not be allowed to enter the broker’s office tomorrow. Koirala said that Dr Bhatta has assured to address the demands of the investors today itself.
Nepal Police and Armed Police Force have stopped the protesters at the Sebon premises.
