Kathmandu. Hemraj Dhakal, the founder shareholder of Hathway Investment Nepal Limited, is going to sell 20 lakh units of shares. He informed the company that he will sell the shares after the end of the lockout period in the company.
According to the information given by the company to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), Dhakal will sell his shares within the next three months. He has applied for the sale of shares on September 22.
The company’s share lockout period ended on September 15. As per the last trading price on Thursday, the shares of Hathway Investment were trading at Rs 452.90 per share. Based on this price, the market value of the 20 lakh units of shares that Dhakal is going to sell would be Rs 90.58 crore.
As per the directive issued by the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON), the primary shareholders of a company should inform the concerned company about their intention to sell 5 percent or more of the shares at least 15 days before the sale of their shares.
According to the same provision, Dhakal has informed the company about his intention to sell the shares. The company has also informed NEPSE about this.
