Kathmandu. The industrialists have paid more than Rs 460 million as tax to the state treasury till mid-July last year for using the physical infrastructures of the industrial zone.

Information Officer of Industrial Area Management Limited Basudev Sodari said that industries operating in 10 different industrial zones have deposited Rs 468.6 million during the period.

More than 300 industries operating across the country had outstanding dues of Rs 880 million.

According to Information Officer Sodari, power supply to 10 industries that have not paid their dues has been disconnected. Two industries of the Continental Group have outstanding dues of Rs 40 million.
