Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Balendra Shah is scheduled to hold special discussions with stakeholders from the capital market, securities and insurance sectors at 12 noon today.
The meeting will be attended by Gopal Bhatta, Chairman of Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON), Amrit Lamsal, Chairman of Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), Sagar Dhakal, President of Stock Brokers Association of Nepal, Sandip Jalan, former CEO of NEPSE, Sitaram Thapaliya, Chief Executive Officer of Nepal Life Insurance, Nawaraj Silwal and Chief Executive Officer of Nagarik Stock Dealer Company Limited Maheshwor Lal Shrestha ।
Likewise, Priya Raj Regmi and Ambika Prasad Poudel are also scheduled to attend the meeting.
The meeting will focus on the current situation of the capital market, strengthening of the securities business and insurance sector, policy reform efforts and various contemporary issues of the overall national economy. The market has been continuously declining since the formation of the government. After the market crashed, Shah is said to have tried to meet the concerned people.
