Kathmandu. Major highways and road sections have been badly affected due to the risk of incessant rainfall, landslide and flood.

According to the latest information made public by Nepal Police, the Khurkot-Nepalthok-Katunjebesi section of the BP Highway linking Kavrepalanchowk and Sindhuli has been banned for all types of vehicles from 6:00 pm to 4:00 am until further notice.

All types of vehicles have been banned on the Kanti Highway in Makwanpur from 5:00 pm to 5:00 am until another notice is issued.

The road section at Rajduwali of Ilam Municipality-9 has been completely obstructed due to muddy road following rainfall.

Vehicular movement has been completely obstructed along the Araniko Highway at Bhotekoshi rural municipality-4, Jirokilo and Kodari rural municipality-2 in Sindhupalchowk district.

Landslide has completely disrupted the Kaligandaki corridor at Belbagar of Jaimini municipality-8 in Baglung district. Similarly, the Ranke-Rabi-Bhedetar road section at Miklajung rural municipality-4 in Panchthar district has also been obstructed. Similarly, the Arughat-Machhikhola road section at Liding, Dharche rural municipality-7 in Gorkha district has also been obstructed.

Similarly, the road section has been completely obstructed along the Kanti Highway at Pandur of Bagmati rural municipality-3 in Lalitpur this morning.
