Finance Minister Urges Non-Resident Nepalis to Invest in Development of Motherland

Kathmandu. Finance Minister Dr Swarnim Wagle has urged Nepalis living outside the country to invest in the development of motherland.

In a virtual discussion with Nepali entrepreneurs based in Australia on Saturday, Minister Bhandari urged them to have faith in the government’s and party’s stance of ‘One time Nepali, Nepali forever Nepali’, according to Minister Wagle’s private secretariat.TAG_OPEN_div_10

Encouraging the Nepali diaspora to fulfill their duties towards the motherland as the goodwill ambassadors of the country, the Finance Minister said that the present government was committed to the economic development of the country and the support and cooperation of the people living abroad was expected to do so.TAG_OPEN_div_8

He urged the investors to invest confidently as the budget has implemented industry-friendly policies including tax, revenue for the revival of the economy.TAG_OPEN_div_6 The Finance Minister also made it clear that the return of investment could be easily returned. “The transformative concept that we have put forward on behalf of the government such as NRNA bonds, offshore bonds and alternative finance mobilization is for the expansion of your investment in Nepal. ”
