New Practice in E-Commerce: China Bazaar Launched to Provide Direct Reach From Producers to Consumers

Kathmandu. Chinabazaar, a new e-commerce platform targeted at Nepali consumers, is going to be officially launched on July 27.

The initiative aims to enable Nepali consumers to buy quality goods at fair and transparent prices without the additional cost of unnecessary levels and intermediate value chains while transporting from the factory to their homes.

Imported goods in Nepal have long reached consumers through multi-layered supply chains such as importers, wholesalers and distributors.

In this process, the price of the commodity increases and there is also uncertainty in the supply. Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Chinabazaar, Stuti Shrestha, said that the initiative was established to bridge this gap.

According to him, the Chinese market will not depend on third-party sellers or import agents. The company selects its own products from Chinese manufacturers, buys them directly, imports them through its own shipping network, stores them in the company’s warehouse and delivers them to the customers through its own distribution system.

The entire process from source management to import, storage and distribution will be operated under one management, which will help shorten delivery time, control costs and make prices transparent and competitive.

The company believes that this model can provide stable service even in a market where the supply system is fluctuating.

Under the theme “Enjoy Your Stuff”, China Bazaar will initially offer a range of electronic goods, fashion, lifestyle products, and health and beauty products. According to the company, the range of products will be gradually expanded in the coming days.

Customers can make digital payments through eSewa and Khalti. In addition, the company will provide fast and reliable service while maintaining the necessary stock due to its own warehouse and distribution system.

CEO Shrestha said, “Nepal’s digital economy is continuously expanding and our trade relations with China are also getting stronger”.

“The Chinese market is aiming to keep pace with both trends. It plans to expand its distribution network across the country by increasing the variety of products in the coming days. ”

Chinabazaar.com will be officially launched from July 13 through the e-commerce platform wwwchinabazaar.com.
