Kathmandu. The Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers has extended tribute to the deceased in the incident that took place at Kaptangunj of Dewangunj rural municipality-3 in Sunsari district on July 26 and wished for speedy recovery of the injured.
Issuing a press release today, Spokesperson of the Home Office, Hemraj Aryal, said that the Ministry of Health and Food and Hygiene has made arrangement for free health treatment to the injured and the Home Ministry has formed a committee to investigate the incident and submit a report within seven days.
“The Government of Nepal is committed to providing appropriate compensation to the victims of the incident and taking stern legal action against the guilty,” the statement reads.
The office has appealed to all not to disturb the centuries-old religious tolerance, mutual unity and social goodwill followed by the Nepali society.
In this situation, an appeal has been made to all the political parties, civil society, religious organizations, mass media and the general public to maintain peace and order and social and religious harmony in the country.
