Kathmandu. At present, there is the influence of monsoon wind throughout the country.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the monsoon trough is present in the eastern region of Nepal and north of the normal place in the western region of the country.

At present, the weather is generally cloudy in Koshi, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces. The weather will be partly cloudy in the Tarai region of Madhes, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces. Light to moderate rain is likely to occur at some places of Bagmati province, Koshi, Gandaki, Lumbini and Karnali provinces.

According to the Division, the weather will be generally cloudy throughout the country this afternoon. Light rain will occur in ÷ places while light snowfall is predicted in high hilly and mountainous area. According to Meteorological Forecasting Division, there are chances of moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning at some ÷places of Koshi and Sudurpaschim provinces, and at a few places of Bagmati and Gandaki provinces. According to the Division, the weather will be generally cloudy throughout the country tonight. Light rain will occur in ÷ places while light snowfall is predicted in high hilly and mountainous area.

According to Meteorological Forecasting Division, there are chances of moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning at some ÷places of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Sudurpaschim provinces and at a few places of Lumbini Province and Lumbini Province.

Likewise, heavy rain is likely to occur at one or two places of the hilly region of Koshi Province and at a few places of Bagmati Province and Gandaki Province.
