3. Immediately after the incident, all the security agencies have reached the incident site and are making continuous efforts to normalize the situation, prevent further untoward incidents and maintain peace and security. The Ministry of Home Affairs has formed a probe committee to investigate the incident and take stern action against the guilty. I want to assure everyone that this investigation will be completely fair and transparent. The government is committed to bringing to book whoever is involved in the incident.

4. The Government of Nepal is working continuously to ensure that the situation does not deteriorate further, no citizen loses life and property and creates an environment of trust at the local level. An all-party meeting has been called at the central level to normalize the situation and intensive discussions have been held with the people’s representatives, civil society, various religious leaders, community leaders and social personalities.

5. The Home Minister himself has already left for the incident site with high officials of security bodies to directly monitor the situation at local, hold talks with the victimized bodies and further strengthen peace and security. In addition, a meeting of the National Security Council has been held to seriously review the overall peace and security situation in the country and necessary decisions have been taken as per the situation.

Also, I would like to make a special request to believe only on the official facts and information issued by the government bodies.

7. It is the supreme and primary responsibility of the State to protect life and property of every citizen, to preserve social harmony and to maintain peace in the society. The state will be more alert and sensitive in the coming days as well. All the mechanisms of the government will work round the clock to protect the life of every citizen. The Government is fully aware of any activities that may breach peace and security, spread anarchy or disturb our age-old social harmony, tolerance and brotherhood and strict action will be taken against such activities.

8. The Constitution of Nepal has given every citizen the fundamental right to follow his/her own religion, culture and tradition. The government is fully committed to fulfilling this constitutional responsibility.

9. Religion is the power to connect society and share love. No religion or culture in the world teaches violence, hatred, or division. The essence of all religions is compassion, kindness, love, and peace.

10. Blaming an entire community for an unexpected and tragic incident that took place in one part of the country and spreading the fire of revenge to other parts of the country cannot be justified or justified from any point of view.

Dear Parents, Sisters and Brothers,

11. Our history is witness that even in the most difficult and difficult situations, mutual unity, tolerance and wisdom have become our greatest strengths.

12. All of us, acting as responsible citizens, have to clear the cloud of unrest hovering over the beautiful and peaceful Nepali sky.
