Kathmandu. Police have opened fire while trying to arrest Karma Tamang who was absconding after robbing a chain from Budhanilkantha Municipality-13, Chunikhel.
He was shot and taken into custody.
According to the police, three rounds of bullets were fired when they tried to arrest him at 10:25 pm on August 2.
Police also confiscated a khukuri from Tamang who was taken under control while he was injured. He is undergoing treatment at the Trauma Center in Kathmandu.
