Kathmandu. The government has released the new pay scale of the Nepal Army for the current fiscal year.
The Ministry of Finance has made public the new pay scales of various ranks of the Nepal Army with effect from July 17.
According to the new pay scale, the salary of the Chief of Army Staff is Rs 90,594. The salary of the Chief of Army Staff will be Rs 84,932 and the amount will be maintained after the addition of two grades.
The salary of the recruit is Rs 28,984.
In the aircraft maintenance group, the salary of Pilot Major is Rs 90,509. Effective from July 17, they will receive 10 percent of the grade amount and salary of the increment.
