Kathmandu. The Tatopani transit point, the main entry point for Nepal-China trade, has remained obstructed for the past three weeks.

Foreign trade between Nepal and China through this border point has also come to a standstill.

Chief Customs Officer at Tatopani Customs Office, Dipendra Prakash Giri, said the landslides in different places have also affected the foreign trade between Nepal and China.

“Containers with goods have not been able to enter Nepal from the Chinese side due to road obstruction at the border point”, he said, adding, “The road has not been reopened yet.” ”
