Kathmandu. MAKWANPUR: Police have arrested a person in possession of a pistol and a magazine from Betini Agote of Bagmati rural municipality-9 in Makwanpur district.

Police had conducted a security check at a house in Betini Agoute on Monday based on a tip-off that a pistol was concealed.

The pistol was recovered from the house of Tek Bahadur Singtan, 19, of Agote.

Police recovered a pistol and a magazine from the pistol inside a zebra bag on the top of the top floor of the two-storey house made of sand and cement.

Tek Bahadur Singtan, 19, of Betini Agote has been arrested in connection with the incident and further investigation is underway, police said.
