Kathmandu. Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer BYD has launched three new models in Nepal. Cimex Inc., the authorized distributor of BYD in Nepal, today unveiled the facelift of Atto 1 and Atto 3 and the new base variants of Atto 2 at the Naima Mobility Expo.
With the launch of the new model, BYD has further expanded its range of autos in the Nepalese market. Specifically, the new base variant of the At2 with a 45kWh battery specifically targets customers who are looking for compact electric SUVs at a relatively low price.
Previously, only the 51.13 kWh battery variant of the Atto 2 was available in Nepal. Now, the company has also launched the ‘essential’ base variant with 45 kWh battery in the Nepali market.
Atto 2 price from 45,95,000

The BYD At2 is priced at Rs 45,95,000 for the Essential variant with a 45 kWh battery. Similarly, the price of Atto 2 premium has been set at Rs 48,99,000.
Under the Ato series, the At2 is presented as a compact electric SUV. With the addition of the new base variant, customers will be able to choose from various options of Atto 2 as per their budget and requirement.
Atto 3 facelift also released
BYD has also launched the much-awaited version of the Atto 3 in Nepal. According to the company, the new Atto 3 has improved its technology and charging system along with the exterior design. The Atto 3 Advanced is priced at Rs 62.90 lakh while the Superior variant is priced at Rs 78 lakh.
The Atto 3 is one of the most popular models from BYD in the Nepalese electric vehicle market. Design and technology improvements in the facelift are expected to further enhance its competitiveness.
Atto 1 also facelift

BYD has also launched the facelifted version of its small electric hatchback Atto 1 in the Nepalese market. Aimed at being an entry-level city-centric electric vehicle, the new version of the Atto1 gets design and feature changes. The Dynamic variant of the Atto 1 facelift is priced at Rs 30.75 lakh. Similarly, the premium variant is priced at Rs 34.80 lakh.

The dynamic variant of the Atto 1 available in Nepal is 30. A battery of 08 kWh is used. It is said to have a range of about 230 km. The facelift comes with features such as a wireless charger and a 360-degree camera. The company expects this to make the Atto 1 more convenient for daily use in urban areas.
Three new options at once
BYD has widened its product range in the Nepalese EV market with the addition of new options in Atto 1, At2 and Atto 3 at the Naima Mobility Expo. Especially, the base variant of the Atto 2 with a 45 kWh battery gives customers the option of buying an electric SUV at a lower price than the previous model. Likewise, with the facelifted edition of Atto 1 and Atto 3, the company continues to market its existing models with design, features and technological improvements.
