Kathmandu. Pathao, which has been coordinating to deliver goods to more than 12,000 merchants across Nepal through Pathao parcels, has now launched a digital business management system called “Pathao Commerce” for Nepali online merchants.
Aimed at online businessmen, it has been launched with the concept of ‘Simplify Your Online Business’ through an easy and simple system to do business through commerce. Through this, businessmen will be able to manage daily business tasks including social media, orders, inventory, website and delivery from a single system.
Pathao Commerce currently brings Facebook and WhatsApp messages into one inbox and orders can be taken while chatting with customers. Orders can be delivered all over Nepal via Pathao parcels. The company has said that in the coming days, Instagram and Tiktok will also be added to it.
According to the company, Pathao Commerce has provided the facility to connect the process from chat to order taking and delivery in a single stream for the first time in Nepal. Businesses will be able to manage orders and stock from multiple mediums through a single dashboard by linking the Daraz app, their own website and other online stores to Pathao Commerce. Platforms like Shopify and WooCommerce will also be added soon, the company said.
Through Pathao Commerce, businessmen will be able to create a free website for their business and also live their online store in Pathao Shop. Orders from website, social media and Pathao Shop can be managed from one place and delivered through Pathao parcels.
Aimed specifically at social media businesses, sellers of Daraz App, SMEs, and business-oriented Nepali brands, Pathao Commerce will offer free to the first 1,000 businesses throughout the current fiscal year and a 30-day free trial will be available for new registration. After that, the service is Rs. Rs. 4,999 or Rs. 4,999 annually. It can be used for Rs 49,999. According to the company, the market value of such digital systems is Rs. 1. It costs more than 5 lakhs.
