Kathmandu. The stock market has remained stable. The market has remained stable amidst a lot of volatility.

The index that measures the market increased by 0.55 points to sit at 2,642.40 points. A total of 8,701,944 units of shares of 348 companies worth Rs 3.53 billion were traded during the transaction.

Share prices of 102 companies increased while the prices of 165 companies declined. The sub-indices of banking, finance, hotel, investment and non-life insurance groups increased while the sub-indices of other sub-indices decreased.

Mount Everest Power Development Company has hit a positive circuit in the trading session. NRN Infrastructure and Development Company is in the first position on the basis of transaction amount. The company’s turnover stood at Rs 31.60 crore.

Central Finance Ltd and Solu Hydro Ltd are in the second and third positions.
