197 savers of 10 cooperatives, including British Gurkhas, get money back

Kathmandu. A total of 197 savers from 10 cooperatives have received their money back.

According to the National Cooperative Regulatory Authority, the savings amount has been returned after completing the process of the savers of the concerned cooperatives.TAG_OPEN_div_12 According to the NRA, 174 savers of British Gurkha Savings and Credit Cooperatives alone have received their money back. According to the NRA, various amounts of savings have been returned to 23 savers of the remaining nine cooperatives.

The cooperatives that have returned the savings amount are Sankalp Savings and Loan, Bir Binayak Savings and Loan, Samadarshan Consumer, Purvodaya Savings and Loan, Artha Multipurpose, Shweta Bhairav Savings and Loan, Creative Savings and Loan, British Gorkha Savings and Loan, Genbel Savings and Loan and Shobha Bhagwati Multipurpose Cooperative.TAG_OPEN_div_10

The Authority has said that the process of returning the money to the savers by resolving the problems seen in the cooperative sector has been taken forward with priority.TAG_OPEN_div_8
