Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The Supreme Court (SC) has ordered journalist Kishor Shrestha to appear before the House of Representatives on Monday.

A single bench of Justice Bal Krishna Dhakal issued the order in response to a writ petition filed by his wife Saraswati Shrestha.

Police have seized computers, laptops, mobile phones and other electronic gadgets from Shrestha’s residence on Wednesday night and the office of Jan Aastha Weekly this morning.

Shrestha is also the senior vice-chair of the World Press Council.
