Kathmandu. Similarly, Minister for Infrastructure Development Sunil Lamsal said the government has been carrying out works by prioritizing the areas that were less developed in the past. He who arrived here for monitoring the infrastructure development in the Sudurpaschim Province today, said that budget has been allocated to construct a concrete road to the center of Palika and a two-lane road to the district center. For this, necessary budget has been allocated to construct 314 kilometers of road in the Far-West.

He said that there is sufficient budget for the construction and maintenance of urban roads under the Intensive Urban Programme, and various plans would be implemented in the Far-West region under the programme of constructing three thousand bridges in three years. Minister Lamsal also urged the people to come to him by bringing plans for the construction of necessary infrastructures in the far-west region.

“I am ready to facilitate the implementation of not only the ministry under my leadership but also the plans under other ministries for the development of the Far-West region,” he said. We have come here to work, we will solve the problems seen in essential infrastructure and other sectors,” the minister said.

During the five-day period, Minister Lamsal is scheduled to monitor various infrastructures in all the districts and regions of the Far-West, identify local problems and take stock of the initiatives to resolve them, according to his private secretariat.
