Kathmandu. The meeting of the House of Representatives has begun.
In today’s meeting, ministers concerned are likely to respond to queries related to the ministries of foreign affairs, energy, water resources and irrigation, culture, tourism and civil aviation, and agriculture, forest and environment.
Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Sobita Gautam, on behalf of Prime Minister Balendra Shah, will present the seventh annual report of the Tharu Commission, 2081/82.
Similarly, Minister for Foreign Affairs Sishir Khanal presented a proposal seeking consideration on the Passport (first amendment) Bill, 2083 BS while Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Gautam proposed the proposal seeking consideration on the ‘Reconciliation (Second Amendment) Bill-2083 BS’.
In the meeting, Minister Gautam will present an agreement on the conservation and sustainable use of marine biodiversity in areas outside the national jurisdiction of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Ocean, according to Secretary General of the Federal Parliament Padma Prasad Pandey.
