Heavy rain forecast at some places of these three provinces today

. At present, there is the influence of monsoon wind throughout the country. At present, the monsoon low pressure trough is around the average location. The weather is generally cloudy throughout the country at present.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces are witnessing light to TAG_OPEN_div_14 moderate rainfall.

According to the Division, it will be generally cloudy this afternoon as well.TAG_OPEN_div_12 Light rain will occur in some places while light snowfall is predicted in high hilly and mountainous area. Light rain or thunder likely to occur at many places of the hilly region, at a few places of the Bagmati Province, Gandaki, Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces, and at a few ÷places of the Tarai region. Heavy rain is forecast at one ÷or two places of the hilly region of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, there are chances of gusty winds at some places of Tarai and Madhes province of Koshi province.

} Similarly, the weather will be generally cloudy in the mountainous and hilly areas of the country tonight. There will be generally cloudy in the Tarai region of Koshi and Sudurpaschim Province while there will be partly cloudy in the rest of the Tarai areas. Light rain will occur in some places while light snowfall is predicted in high hilly and mountainous area.

Moderate TAG_OPEN_div_8 rain with thunder and lightning is predicted in high hilly and mountainous area. Moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely to occur at some places of the Tarai region of Koshi and Lumbini provinces, at a few places of the Tarai region of Madhes and Bagmati provinces, at the Gandaki and Sudurpaschim provinces.
