. Agents of Nepal Life Insurance Company have demanded the resignation of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Nepal Life Insurance Company Pravin Raman Parajuli.

} Agents chanted slogans outside the Yak & Yeti Hotel in Kathmandu on Thursday and demanded Parajuli’s resignation. They have demanded that the government should treat the agents with respect, stop the transfer of insurance records that have already been issued and stop the work affecting the insured by reducing the bonus.

Similarly, the agents have also demanded that a minimum bonus of 65 percent should be maintained in all insurance plans, and the agreements made in the past should be implemented.TAG_CLOSE_u_6 TAG_OPEN_u_6

Agents have said they will continue the agitation until their demands are addressed. Meanwhile, the 47th meeting of the board of directors of Nepal Life Insurance on August 16 had decided to re-appoint Praveen Raman Parajuli as the CEO of the company. Parajuli, who was re-appointed, has been in office since August 12.
