Kathmandu. Registrar of Ayurveda Medical Council. Harisharan Aryal has been appointed as the new Chief Minister. He took the oath of office and secrecy from Minister for Health and Food Hygiene Nisha Mehta on Friday.

Dr. Aryal has completed his BAMS and MD in physiotherapy from the Ayurved Campus of Tribhuvan University. In MD, he received a gold medal and a distinguished class.

He has been working as the Medical Director of National Nature Care Hospital since 2009. Prior to this, he had also worked as a consultant physicist at Naradevi-based Ayurved Hospital.

Dr Aryal was the former executive member of Nepal Ayurved Medical Council and former executive member of Singha Durbar Baidyakhana Development Committee.
