Kathmandu. The Bagmati Province Assembly parliamentary party of the Nepali Congress (NC) has issued a whip not to vote in favour of Chief Minister Kiran Thapa.

The Nepali Congress (NC) has issued a whip to its lawmakers to vote against the motion of confidence tabled by Chief Minister Thapa in the Provincial Assembly on Monday.

In a whip issued by NC Bagmati Province Assembly Parliamentary Party Chief Whip Pukar Maharjan, the province assembly members have been directed to be present in the meeting of the Province Assembly compulsorily, not to remain neutral and vote against the motion of confidence presented by Chief Minister Thapa.

The NC issued the whip to vote its members accordingly as per the Article 168 (4) of the Constitution of Nepal and Rule 143 of the Bagmati Province Assembly Regulations, 2074 BS.
