Kathmandu. The meeting of the House of Representatives is taking place today. The meeting is scheduled to be held at 1:00 pm and the concerned minister is likely to answer oral questions related to the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies.
Similarly, Finance Minister Dr Swarnim Wagle, on the behalf of Prime Minister Balendra Shah, presented a proposal in the meeting seeking to send the Bill related to remuneration, conditions of service and facilities of office-bearers of constitutional bodies (first amendment), 2083 BS to the concerned committee for clause-wise deliberations.
Similarly, Minister for Foreign Affairs Shishir Khanal presented a proposal seeking to send the Passport (first amendment) Bill, 2083 BS to the concerned committee for clause-wise deliberations.
Minister for Women, Children, Gender and Sexual Minority and Social Security, Sita Badi, is scheduled to table a proposal seeking clause-wise deliberation on the ‘Human Trafficking and Transportation (Control) (First Amendment) Bill, 2083 BS’ be sent to the concerned committee for clause-wise deliberations.
Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Gauri Kumari is likely to present a proposal seeking to send the Mines and Mineral Substances Bill, 2083 to the concerned committee for clause-wise discussions, according to the Federal Parliament Secretariat.
Likewise, meetings of five different parliamentary committees are taking place today itself. According to the details, the International Relations and Tourism Committee, the Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee, the Infrastructure Development Committee, the Legislation Management Committee and the Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee will be meeting.
