The Ministry of Home Affairs has announced a public holiday on Wednesday on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the Nepali Muslims.
“The Muslim Commission has decided to give a public holiday on August 26 only for the Nepali Muslim community as it has been informed that the Muslim Jayanti falls on Wednesday, August 26,” reads the press release.
