Kathmandu. The National Private and Boarding Schools Association Nepal (National PABSON) has issued a white paper giving priority to the amendment of the statute of the organization, legal consolidation and organizational unity.

The white paper has been issued with the objective of further strengthening the legal legitimacy of the organization, revising the statute as per the time and resolving the differences seen in the organization.

The white paper has pointed out the need to amend and regularize the statute of the organization as per the directive of the Government of Nepal, Ministry of Home Affairs on November 26, 2082 and the directive of the same ministry on July 30, 2083. Accordingly, the process of finalizing the proposal for the fifth amendment of the statute prepared by the central committee has been initiated.

According to the white paper of the organization, Section 20 of the Statute. A special session has been called in accordance with the provisions of Section 1. A public notice has also been published to inform the members about the session.

Describing organizational unity as the main strength of the organization, the National PABSON has called upon the central, provincial, district and local level committees to unite for the larger interest of the organization. The white paper also expressed the commitment to make the organization more united by resolving internal differences through dialogue, collaboration and democratic methods.

Similarly, after the amendment of the statute, it is aimed to make the economic, administrative and organizational functioning of the institution more transparent and systematic. It is expected that this will help the leadership of the institution to present the current challenges in the private education sector, the education act and the policy issues of the local government more effectively.

Through the white paper, National PABSON has urged the central office-bearers, members and representatives of the member schools to participate in the special convention to be held at Unique Wild Resort in Sauraha, Chitwan on September 28, 2083.

Stating that maintaining organizational unity by strengthening the legal base of the organization was the main need of the hour, the white paper has also put forward the slogan ‘Unity of National PABSON today’.
