At present, the weather is generally cloudy in the mountainous and hilly areas of the country. Light rain or thunder likely to occur at many places of the hilly region of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces and at a few places of the hilly region of Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces. Brief rain will occur in some places while light snowfall is predicted in high hilly and mountainous area. There are chances of heavy rainfall at one or two places of mountainous and hilly regions of Koshi Province, Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province and Lumbini Province.

The Division has urged one and all to adopt necessary precaution as there is a risk of disasters like mudslide, flood, landslide and soil erosion in the areas prone to heavy rainfall. The Division has urged one and all to be updated as daily life along with agriculture, health, tourism, mountaineering, road and air transport are likely to be affected in these areas due to inrainfall.
