Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: An emergency meeting of the Council of Ministers has begun at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers at Singha Durbar.

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has summoned an emergency meeting of the Council of Ministers a while ago to give necessary directives for the relief and rescue operations in the aftermath of the floods.

Earlier, a meeting of the National Council for Disaster Risk Reduction and Management was held today itself under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Shah. During the meeting, he received necessary briefing from the Nepal Army about the floods.

He also directed the concerned people to work in rescue and relief work regarding the next steps.
