Kathmandu. Rasuwa: Floods disrupt 6 transmission lines in Rasuwa.
According to Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), the power supply at 220 KV Trishuli Hydropower Project has been completely damaged and other transmission lines have been affected due to damages.
According to the Authority, 220 KV in Trishuli The 3B Hub substation has been completely damaged.
Chilime 220 KV Hub Tower has been shut down due to obstruction. Samudra Tar – Trishuli 132 kV The transmission line has been disrupted. Chilime – Trishuli 66 kV The transmission line is blocked.
Chilime Hav – Trishuli 3 B Hub – Matatirtha 220 kV The transmission line is blocked. Trishuli-Balaju 66 kV The transmission line is blocked.
According to NEA, there are problems in the towers of some other transmission lines.
NEA has stated that efforts are being made to operate the power system in partial areas from places that can be operated through alternative means. In this connection, efforts are being made to operate the Chaughoda substation in the Samudratar area towards Sindhupalchowk.
NEA has said that efforts are underway to resume power supply from Dhadingbesi substation to areas from Gujuri to Galchi.
