Kathmandu. Kumari Bank Limited has contributed Rs 3 crore to the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CAR) program to support the relief, rescue and rehabilitation of the communities affected by floods and natural disasters in various districts of the country.

In addition, the bank has also sent five state-of-the-art AI based surveillance drones, 3 5 KVA portable generators and 100 power banks worth around Rs 39 lakh to Nepal Army’s Nuwakot base to make search, rescue and monitoring operations more effective in the disaster-hit areas.

Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading, Gorkha, Chitwan, among other districts have been affected by the recent disaster.

Kumari Bank has been fulfilling its social responsibility towards the community during disasters and humanitarian crises. The bank believes that this assistance will contribute significantly to the relief, rescue and rehabilitation of the affected communities.

Kumari Bank expressed deep sorrow to the affected communities at this difficult time of this disaster and has called on the concerned authorities to carry out relief, rescue and rehabilitation work more effectively as well as wish for speedy recovery of the injured and safe search and rescue of the missing persons.
