Kathmandu. The Government of India has decided to send the second phase of humanitarian assistance and disaster relief to the flood victims of Rasuwa. Indian External Affairs Minister Dr. S Jaishankar said through social media that 37.5 tonnes of supplies have been sent to Nepal this morning.

“India is in regular touch with the authorities of Nepal, we are committed to providing assistance in disaster relief,” he said.

Earlier, the Indian government had sent 10 tonnes of relief materials to Nepal for the flood affected people of Rasuwa on Wednesday night. He said that humanitarian aid, disaster relief, food and essential medicines have been sent to Nepal for the flood victims.
