Power supply resumes in Battar and Trishuli bazaar

Kathmandu. Power supply has been restored in Battar and Trishuli bazaar areas of Nuwakot district.

The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has charged the 66 kV Balaju-Trishuli and Chapali-Devighat transmission lines to 11 kV to begin supplying the electricity through alternative arrangement.

After the damage to the regular power supply system due to the floods, the NEA had started the work of restoring electricity service in the affected areas by using the available transmission infrastructure. It has been reported that the power supply has been resumed in Battar, Trishuli Bazaar and surrounding areas after this arrangement.

The NEA has said it is working to resume power supply in all flood-affected areas by expediting the repair and rehabilitation of power structures damaged by floods.
