Kathmandu. IME Life Insurance Company Limited has announced to contribute Rs 1 crore to the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund for the relief and rehabilitation of the flood victims.
The company has expressed sorrow over the loss of life and property due to the floods on Wednesday. IME Life Insurance Company Limited has expressed solidarity with the efforts being made by the Government of Nepal, security agencies and local organizations for the rescue, relief and long-term rehabilitation of the people affected by the disaster.
Accordingly, the company has announced to provide financial assistance of one crore rupees to the ‘Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund’ as part of its corporate social responsibility. Since its inception, the company has been handing over assistance to the country by being at the forefront of various crises, natural disasters and epidemics.
In the current situation, the financial support provided by the company will further help in the search, rescue, food, health treatment and rehabilitation of the flood-affected people.
