Chitwan. The Chitwan police have arrested two persons after a video of a man being swept away by the floods went viral on social media.

} The police had started investigating the case after a video made public on social media showed an attempt to pull a gold ring from the finger of the body swept away by the floods. During the investigation, two people were arrested for their alleged involvement in the incident, Chitwan police said.

The video, which raised serious questions on human sensitivity, was widely criticized on social media after it went viral. Citizens have demanded that the people who lost their lives due to the floods should be treated with respect and strict action should be taken against the culprits.
