Kathmandu. The cabinet meeting of the Koshi Province government held today paid heartfelt tribute to the people who lost their lives in the floods in Bhotekoshi on Wednesday and expressed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families. The government has also expressed deep sorrow over the loss of many lives and property due to the floods.
The meeting presided over by Chief Minister of Koshi Province Hikmat Kumar Karki took the decision to provide Rs 30 million immediately to the Prime Minister Natural Disaster Relief Fund, said government spokesperson and Minister for Internal Affairs and Law Gombu Sherpa.
He also said that the Koshi Province government is ready to coordinate with the federal government to provide immediate search, rescue and relief in the flood-affected areas. The meeting also decided to direct the disaster management committees of all districts of Koshi Province to remain alert and alert as the monsoon is still active.
