Kathmandu. Sanima Reliance Life Insurance has donated Rs 72 lakh to help in the relief and reconstruction of the people affected by the floods in different parts of the country.

The company has pledged to contribute a total of Rs 72 lakhs which includes Rs 51 lakhs to the Prime Minister Natural Disaster Relief Fund and Rs 21 lakhs from its board of directors and employees.

Expressing solidarity with the government in the relief and reconstruction works, the Company has pledged to provide relief and rehabilitation to the people affected by the disaster.

The company has also appealed to the government bodies, security bodies, local levels, social organisations, private sector and the civil communities to help in saving the lives of the people affected by the disaster, in the safe relocation and in management of food, medicine, shelter and other essentials.

The Company has requested the people in the risky and affected areas to stay in safe places by abiding by the information and precautionary directives issued by the concerned bodies, to stay away from the rivers and vulnerable areas and to provide necessary support to the bodies deputed in rescue and relief work.
