{{TAG_OPEN_div_16} Kathmandu. As many as 537 employees and workers of nine hydropower projects have been incommunicado so far due to the floods in the Bhotekoshi River. According to the Independent Power Producers’ Association, Nepal (IPPAN), 898 people working in nine hydropower projects in Rasuwa and Nuwakot have gone out of contact. Of them, 361 have been rescued.

Similarly, 93 people have gone missing from the 111 MW Rasuwagadhi Hydropower Project. Four people have gone missing from the Rasuwa Bhotekoshi Hydropower Project, according to IPPAN. Out of 42 people who have gone missing from the Langtang Khola Hydropower Project, 18 have been rescued so far.TAG_OPEN_div_12
