KATHMANDU: A technical team including Nepal Army has been mobilized for search and rescue of the Trishuli-3 ‘B’ hydropower project affected by the Koshi floods.

According to the Secretariat of Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, a team of Nepal Army including project chief, consultant company chief and site engineer has reached the incident site and started the works.

The Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation said although the search and rescue operation was more difficult due to adverse weather and challenging geographical conditions, the search and rescue team is working cautiously.
