Hetauda. The number of vehicles heading to and from Kathmandu via Makwanpur has increased after the road was blocked at Krishnabhir of Dhading along the Prithvi Highway.

The District Administration Office, Makawanpur has urged cargo vehicles to ply via Kanti Highway and vehicles larger than 14 seats to ply through Tribhuvan Highway for traffic congestion.

Administrative Officer of the office, Santosh Subedi, said that small passenger vehicles up to 14 seats have been requested to ply via Bhimphedi-Deurali. The administration has also requested not to travel to Kathmandu except for essential work, not to take private vehicles except in emergency cases, not to overtake haphazardly and to follow the instructions of the traffic police.
